Momma & Baby Shower
We are preparing Chloe's Closet with warm clothes and supplies for our
moms & their little ones. Items will be available as emergency provision and also incentives for program participation.
Would you like to help?
We need a variety of cold weather items as well as everyday necessities.
To stock our closet we are inviting our friends and colleagues to host a Momma & Baby Shower!
We will provide you with printed invitations, a list of ideas for babies, toddlers, and moms and guidelines for hosting a
smashingly successful event!
What could be more fun than a gathering of friends... an opportunity to browse and shop for mommas, babies and tots... the joy of knowing you are helping keep a little one warm and snuggly all winter long! Or helping their mommas feel better because the have some decent underwear, or warm gloves, or toiletries for grooming and some smell good lotion!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Please note: Out of respect for the women we serve, the positions in which direct interaction occurs necessitate female volunteers, however we have many indirect support positions that are open to both men and women.
- We have a GREAT NEED for ADVOCATES: Advocates play and important role in nurturing and encouraging our young single moms in their journey toward self-sufficiency. Advocates are women who are at least 25 years old, have completed the necessary application process (including background check) and have completed training sessions provided by CHLOE leadership staff. Ongoing training and personal support for these volunteers is provided
- CHILD CARE:Volunteers are needed to help Child Care staff during CHLOE'S Moms Connection Classes. You may volunteer for a single session or to serve regularly. Classes will be held on Saturday afternoons, twice each month. (application & background check required)
- SNACKS: We need groups or individual to prepare and donate snacks to be served at our Chloe's Moms Connection sessions. You may sign up to provide a snack for a single session or more. Guidelines will be provided.
- TRANSPORTATION:
- Some of the young moms interested in our program are thwarted due to lack of transportation to and from our classes on 2 Saturday afternoons a month. Volunteers who are willing to pick up a mom and her child and transport to and from the classes are needed. Application and background check (including driving record) are required.
- Once our residential facility is operational we will have need for volunteers to provide transportation to scheduled appointments and group activities. A valid driver's license, up-to-date insurance, good driving record and reliable vehicle are necessities. Volunteer application with background check must be completed, as well.
