Young Mom Connections

Young Mom Connections provides opportunities for young mothers to come together to build community and learn life skills. During YMC, mothers and their children enjoy a home cooked meal, followed by mothers engaging in meaningful programing relevant to their personal growth and development lead by knowledge and supportive facilitators while their child is taken care of by loving volunteers.

What you will expect at YMC:

  • Encouragement - We’ve all been placed in this time and place in history, as women who are raising the world. And the beauty of it is that while we don’t all have to agree on everything we can still learn from and support each other.

  • Inspiration - You can do big things. We want to help you gain the confidence to be an extraordinary mom able to take care of yourself and your kids.

  • Strength Talk - Learn that you are not alone in your struggles. We talk about dating, sex, money, conflict, healthy choices, kids, school … you name it… we’ll talk about it.

  • Practical Help - Learn great mom tips and tricks from speakers who know you may have had only three hours of sleep last night so they’d better keep it interesting.

  • Fun Activities - Take a break, have some fun, learn something new!

  • Child Care - You love your kids, but lets be honest, a little break now and then is a good thing! Your kiddos will love the nursery, and you’ll get some down time.

CHLOE launched a Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention project in August of 2011. CHLOE provides interactive presentations and prevention handouts at community events
